The Winery of Good Hope is more than just a winery. It’s an approach. An alternative way of thinking, being and doing. Yes, you will find us in the prestigious wine-making region of Stellenbosch, in South Africa’s Cape of Good Hope. But we aren’t like other wine producers. Why? Because we’re not into all the flashy stuff that’s often associated with our industry. We just want to make quality wine with a conscience. At our cellar on the slopes of the Helderberg Mountain, we make great wines using traditional, natural viticultural and winemaking methods. We’re also fully accredited for environmental, ethical, and social-upliftment practices. That’s why we called ourselves The Winery of Good Hope.
Our Four Unique Ranges
Made in very limited quantities and to strict standards, the Radford Dale range combines the greatest attributes of time-tested, traditional methods with modern viticulture and instinctive winemaking. Romantic and restrained. Classic and contemporary. The best of both worlds, all in one bottle.
Land of Hope
These wines don’t just taste good; they do good. The money they generate goes into the Land of Hope Trust, and the direct and sole beneficiaries of this Trust are our previously disadvantaged employees and their dependents. Profit is not the motivator behind these wines… but we’re all the richer because of them.

Where individualism, value and quality collide, you’ll find the two unique wines in this range. And you can’t miss them – they’ve got the sleekest packaging in the Cape. But even if they had the plainest labels in town, these characterful, intense wines speak for themselves. And you’ll like what they have to say.
The Winery of Good Hope
Extremely approachable, classy and elegant, these all-occasion wines are highly drinkable – and highly affordable. We believe in making delicious, value-for-money wines, no matter what the price tag says. And that’s what we do with the wines in this range. Enjoy!
