The Winery of Good Hope is located in the wine region of Stellenbosch in the Cape of Good Hope. Founded in 1998 and specialising in the mountainous viticultural sub regions of the Helderberg (Stellenbosch), Elgin, and the Perderberg (Swartland). We produce four distinctive wine ranges using traditional, natural viticultural & winemaking methods, at our cellar on the Helderberg mountain. We are fully accredited for environmental, ethical, and social-upliftment practices.

The Land of Hope Trust project started in 2007. Initiated against the background of many “smoke and mirrors” projects purporting to uplift Previously Disadvantaged Individuals (PDI), although very few of which seem to genuinely do so. The direct and sole beneficiaries of this Trust are the previously disadvantaged individual employees of Winery of Good Hope and their children and dependents.
